Guatemala Youth Missions Trip

Since 2015 Crossroads Church has been in partnership with pastors, churches and leaders in Jalapa, Guatemala. Our heart is to help support and breathe life into local pastors, their churches and communities. For the past two summers we have lead a team of high school students to join our work in Guatemala. They held a VBS for children who live in the city dump of Jalapa. The impact has been so amazing they decided they had to go back this year!
Aubrey, Ellie & Norah Swihart
For Aubrey & Ellie, this will be our fourth trip to Guatemala and our third time back to a ministry called Arca de Noe. For Norah it will be her second trip and first time to minster at Arca de Noe. It is an outreach ministry to kids and families who live in the city dump. These kids spend most of their days collecting recycling to make money for their families. Arca de Noe provides them with one meal a day, showers, and an education. Their heart (and ours) is to see these people break the cycle of poverty starting by meeting physical needs. We get to come alongside them to feed the kids and teach them about Jesus through a 3 day VBS.
We can’t wait to go back and reconnect with our sweet friends and we want to invite YOU to help us get there. Our trip is at the beginning of June and altogether it will cost the three of us about $5,000 in total. We are asking that you would prayerfully consider donating to help make this trip possible.
